I moved the chat box to the top because I think the reason it doesn't get used is that everyone forgets about it, every time I go onto the NJ Stangers there are people in the chat box, and they have it at the top, so lets see how it goes.
So now make up your minds, I had it at the top and I got complaints, I moved it to the bottom, and I got complaints.
You all decide, the poll will run for 1 week, so if you know someone who didn't vote please ask them to.
Someone wont like the decision, but we will do what the majority decides.

ok, that sounds good, I know the reason i don't use it is because im more of a sniper on the board, show up shoot a post and leave, hope it gets used more.

I second Bernie's idea. If we put the chatbox back to the top we might eliminate most of the post hijacking.

i think we should use the chat feature more often. Set specific times and have mini meets or meetings, etc

Color me dumb, but I've never scrolled that far down, even when looking at stats.

It makes every page be pushed down... Then you HAVE to scroll each time you visit just to see posts, and click send...

Top is good - But
Each time I try to use it I get a message saying that I am "Disconnected" ......maybe I am but my computer is not, or I wouldn't be able to type this right after

You are disconnected from the chat, but not the site itself. To joing the chat you have to click the "Join the chat" button just above the chat box.
