polished 4:10 gears for sale?

I thought I seen a set of new polished gears for sale on here recently. I was wondering if they still were for sale? If so let me know with price

They were mine. I sold them to Bethel.

Can anyone tell me if a tune is going to be needed or a modification to mine for adding the 4:10 gears? Also what is the going rate for a install for these.

BJ, yes you need a tune or to adjust your current program as your speedo reading will be out. I used the SCT Tuner and Bama tunes on my car when we did the gear change.

It is about a 4-5 hr job as well if you intend to put a bearing & seal kit in at same time. I did.

First off, see if Bob is free for the install. He installed my FRPP 4.10 gears and did an awesome job! No gear whine and he is a great guy. I will let him tell you the price. As for the tune, you shouldn't need a new tune. There should be an option when loading the current tune you have to select a different gear ratio. When my gears were installed all I had to do was reload the tune that I had on the car and select 4.10 gear ratio in the options before starting the tune upload to the car.

OK Bob if bethel sells the gears what i am i looking at

$250 for the install plus fluid and shim kit. $30 for the shim kit and around $50 for the fluid. Royal purple 75w140 is around $18 a quart. You will need 3 quarts. If you can find it for less, go for it. You pay what I pay.

Total around $330.

Sounds good to me. Can we set the gears for the tune that I have or is that something that I will have to have done. Bethel do you want to sell your gears? If not I will go out and order a set. Bob, can you get everything else that is needed or do you need me to? I will let you know when I have gears in hand and we can set up a time.
