Got a New Bike Today!
I`ve been kicking it around for about a year now and decided to do it.
I bought a new 2011 Kawasaki KLR650. I hav`nt even rode it yet. It was raining out and decided to pick it up in the old Ranger. Brought it home and parked it in the garage. Ill post some pictures tomorrow. James, can you help me with some pics?
I missed riding on 2 wheels for few years now. I got my first bike when I was 5. It was a YZinger 50 (now a pw50) It was awesome. Back then at least....Then I got a BW80, then a CR60, then a CR80 then a YZ125. Sold the 125 and bought my Mustang. The guy at Ellicott City Motorsports thought I was crazy because I wanted the 80s feel in a bike. lol. No inverted forks and a plush ride. It feel comfortable for me. Why not? They had bikes on display that were suposed to show how the bikes were back in the day. I can still remember how they feel. ahhh....the 80`s were great! lol

Re: Got a New Bike Today!
Wow, Laura and I keep talking about bikes but never taking the plunge. I rode in my youth, Laura never has, so we've been contemplating a class together next spring, then finding some nice used starter bikes for a year or so. I think Laura is tired of the rear seat on her Dad's bike, and I could sure use the freedom and convenience when commuting in dry weather. Nice ride and have fun!
