A couple weeks ago when I was on vacation in upstate NY I pulled and explorer out of the water. His trans broke in the launch and he didn't have his e-brake on...

Congrats on the new to you ride! What kind of upgrades does the '09 have over the '07?


As far as the Explorer in the water...I've always used my parking brake with my automatics as I've never felt comfortable and/or liked the clunk of the trans as it catches when the car rolls a bit!

The EL is has more Cargo space and the 2009 has an ECO-FUEL.
