i bought a 2009 chevy traverse about a month before i bought my 2009 GT. and since then we have had the computer change twice after my 4 month old son, wife and i got stranded (the computer for some reason wouldnt let the vehicle start). the power steering went out 2 weeks ago. the only way u could turn the wheel is if you were pressing on the accelerator. on the way home from a trip to PA, the transmission started slipping to the point where it wouldnt take hold until 4500-5000rpms. took it to the dealship and alls they say is our computer says nothing is wrong.. oh how many issues has my mustang had??? ZIPPY.

Part of what killed off the Camaro nearly 10 years ago...crappy quality! I will never own a Chevy!

My dad's 2004 Z06 is holding strong with no issues but then again it was their flagship. He also refuses to do most of the severe antics I do

its just sad that after 2 years a $32,000 vehicle is a piece of s***. when we had it at bayside Chevrolet telling them about the transmission issues they drove it a total of 5 miles and then said they cant recreate the problem so their is nothing they can do. what i think it is, is the fact that they are no longer "real" mechanics. they plug the car into the computer and if no code shows up then their is nothing wrong. real mechanics listen to the symptoms and start trying to figure out what all the possible problems could be.

Alot of it has to do with the warranty. If its under warranty they will say its fine. It its out theyll tell you all kinds of crap are wrong

A buddy of mine has an Avalanche. He's been going though oil consumption evals with the dealer for 3 YEARS now. Among other issues... Last week they finally let him know they're going to replace his engine. 2 weeks after it ran out of warranty....
