Re: My new 6.5L....
Now if I could afford any car I wanted, it would be an Australian Ford, Falcon XC Cobra just like this

I fell in love with this car after seeing the Last of the Interceptors on Mad Max, it looks to me like a cross between a Mustang and a Torino, using the best of both, with the exception of the grill, if it had a mustang grill, that would finish it off, but other then that I think this is one of coolest cars in the world.

Here is the BIG money Aussie muscle car. Note that it has 4 doors! Yes 4! It is a Ford XY Falcon GTHO Phase III from '70-72 and now commands over $500k

And let's not forget Holden's offering at the time. Holden HG Monaro GTS 350 from '70-71 and it is a coupe!

These are the most desirable cars of the period.

Looks a lot like the 67 US Falcon 4 doorthe_Pete wrote:Here is the BIG money Aussie muscle car. Note that it has 4 doors! Yes 4! It is a Ford XY Falcon GTHO Phase III from '70-72 and now commands over $500k![]()

But the XC is my dream car, dont even need to be a Cobra, in fact a XC Panel would be even cooler

And nothing against 4 doors, but I like the coupes my self better.
You Aussies sure love your performance cars, maybe even more the Americans, we got a lot in common, both England outcast, and all around trouble makers.
