My dad did my Karmann Ghia and corvette in the driveway using all the tools mentioned, I remember taking lots of pictures as we removed the old tops....He also did the install while i was at work so i couldn't see what magic he preformed. I know that it can be done just be paticent....best of luck.

I did mine and it took 4 people 14 hours. A lot of beer and bandaids were used. I swore id never do another. They're extremely time consuming.

When someone suggest trimming an area. Don't!!! Wait till its all done. The tirm if needed. Leave some excess in the back and front. your gonna need beer. Lol

might have to go heavier than beer ...wink wink...and bandaids are a store stocked item at my house..i say theyre for the grandchildren but i seem to be using them more than anyone else...LOL..nice advice on the trimming too!!!
