Going to trade in the 4.0

Post by Lone Star on Mon Jun 27, 2011 12:50 pm

Well as some of you know, my car got all jacked up by a flying tent (10x10 portable kind) on Saturday at the MCOM Century Ford car show. It was a windy day and the tent had not moved an inch the entire day despite the wind. The show was pretty much over, but Andy the stunt driver was still giving rides in the Fox, and I was part of the safety crew.

Well the tent decided to go airborn and hit my car from around 30 feet away. Damaged the hood & passenger front fender, left a nice crease in the hood/fender and one of the strut bolts punctured the hood. I now have a heat extractor hood ROTFL

I have been planning on getting a supercharger for the 4.0, an 8.8 rear...for around $7000 when all said and done by December as a birthday gift to myself for turning 40 (in January). But have decided to step it up to a hole new level! 5.0

Should be this week

Sorry to hear of the misfortune... However a nice 5.0 will be so sweet as a replacement. Good Luck

Thanks BJ! Im kinda like you, except I don't wash my car on the regular ROTFL, but despite that she was pristine (no scratches, no door dings, nothing) I guess the dirt acted as a protective barrier. But she has now been voilated and I will never feel the same about her.

I have a hook up at a dealer. Why do you think I got mine for so cheap. My sticker was 34k and I paid $24,900.

Hell Bob that is a great deal. Besides this was a MCOM show that his car got busted at...... ROTFL I think you should throw in a free tank of gas to.

Going to either get another silver one, but am strongly considering a Kona Blue.
