give the info to the PO-po, once he is cornered, you can ask him to pay up or press charges

I told you that...

and I said it was a PITA to get a salvaged title, as it is not a normal inspection, its done by the state police when I did mine

A roller would most likely be your best bet, get one without a motor, or a blown motor and just put you good drive train out of the one you have in it.

A certified Maryland State Police (MSP) Salvage Inspector, must perform the salvage inspection. The inspection is intended to ensure that the vehicle and/or its parts have not been stolen or its serial numbers illegally removed.

i was talking to a friend of mine who does inspections at his shop and he said its just for safety, that me not having catalytic converters is not an issue. is this true?

Depends on the cop...

If he doesnt see cats, and he wants to he can fail it for not having stock equipment on the car.

But it would most likely be a repair ticket
