Post by GT Fox on Tue Jun 07, 2011 2:45 pm

Does anyone around me have an extra wheel locking lug key? need to get an alignment on my car and can't do it without taking them off

Typically they are specific to the wheel lock set. Check the 2 common areas for the key. 1. Glove box 2. near spare tire & tools.

if you can't find it, then a shop will have to remove it for you. meaning you will either have to purchase new set of lug nuts or wheel locks. Good luck with it.

It`s a tool kit that grips the outside of the wheel lock and has left had thread. So when you go to loosen to wheel lock it will grip and tighten down on it.

or put simple, Very carefully....

I could just use my Guns and torque them off....

But then you would need to buy Studs and Lock nuts!!!
