Kip Killmon's Mustang Round Up 6/12

At Kip Killmon's Tyson's Ford in Vienna this Sunday. 10-3.

I know a couple of folks are going, who else?

I will definitely be there helping with the NVMC, this was a great one last year!

i went in 2009 and it was a great show good variety of cars were there and the dyno competition was pretty cool. wont make it this year

Sounds like a winner, I went in 2009 as well, Big Mike and Hurvey went as well, they where cutting holes in hoods for shakers and installing Glass Backs, I had a good time.

Did I mention the Free Food is really tasty too!

I will be going and may be heading up a small group cruise from the NVMC meeting spot to Killmon's that morning. This will be my third year in a row

Will April be absolutely filthy again like last year? quick clean up onsite & you end up winning another trophy

I plan on waking up on time this year and only needing to do some very minor detailing once arriving at Killmon's. Last year just had to be some sort of pity award

This Sunday 12 June 2011 is the Kip Killmon Tysons Annual "Mustang Round Up" Car Show. It will be run from 10am-3pm in the Front Lots of Kip Killmons.

As the title says this is the 5th Annual Event, this is always a great time; we will have a Live Band “Subtle Madness". There will be FREE food and refreshments by "Carmen's Grill. There will be vendors onsite installing Window Tinting by Cutting Edge, a Live "Shaker Hood" by Auto Essentials, as well as a Light Bar installation.

There will be Trophies for, Best Motor, Best Interior, Best Paint and Best in Show. Plus a Top 20 "Popular Vote" format or People’s Choice in other words, NO MCA Rules at this one folks.

We will have Raffles and Prizes for the attendees. Chris Williams and Airbrush Artist will be onsite to Airbrush your vehicle on your T-Shirt of Choice.

I was just informed that The World Champion Vaughn "JR" Gitten Jr. will be onsite in his Championship White 2011 RTR MUSTANG demonstrating the art of PERFORMANCE DRIFTING, this is an ART to SEE !!!! He is at 11at 11am (Sharp) he sponsored by FRPP & Falken, Kip Killmon has him for 1hr to do the demonstration and Sign Autographs so don't miss this Pro !!

EmbroideMe's "Benny" will be onsite and selling various Performance Outerwear for the Ford Racing Enthusiast, as well as the NEW 2011 NVMC Club T-Shirt (Limited Amounts Available at the show), as well as limited amount of Club Polo's, you will also be able to ORDER your very own club logo apparel.


This event is fun for the Family, so come out and have fun. I will have Club Decals & Club Membership Cards (Pre Orders) available at the show. There will be photographs taken at the event, so if you have them wear your "Club T-Shirts" we hope to see a sea of "Blue & White" T'sss in the Event photograph taken from the high rise building across the street.

I plan on being at the NVMC meeting spot by 8am (what time others feel like showing up is up to them) and leaving promptly at 8:30am to head to Killmon’ s. Google Maps shows it being about a 25 minute drive, so we should be arriving at the dealership by 9am.

The route I plan to take is:
Willard Rd to Rt 28 south to Rt 66 east to I-495 north towards Tysons Corner to Rt 7 west to the dealership.
