2001 Gauge Cluster Swap?

Post by Dominican7 on Mon Apr 18, 2011 11:19 am

I got my hand on a 2001 cobra gauge cluster. Does anyone no how to swap them and will my gear change effect it? Also how do I adjust the Speedometer from 150 MPH to 160 MPH?

Speedo is electronic, Not sure what it will do at 160, but you wont hit that speed so you should be fine. Otherwise you would need to change the speedo sender in the transmission. Its an easy swap.

The cluster is an easy change.

Ok, so the Speed is about 5 miles faster on the speedometer and the voltage gauge is jacked all the way to the Full Charge. Other that i don't mind. All the other gauges work great, I use my Tom Tom for my speed anyways...lol

Night Shot!!

Get a sender for that and it be fixed. Or you can calibrate it with your tuner.
