New cams
I just bought a set of Hitech Stage 2 cams for my car. Does anyone know of a good manufacturer for cam gears or if I can reuse my stock ones, or if the stock ones are removable?

Re: New cams
you can reuse the stock cam gears.
stock ones are removable
aftermarket cam gears for 2v are made by Mod Camponents
you just dont need them though. most people run them straight up. If you need to adjust the cam timing most do it with the crank timing gear

Re: New cams
its a wooden wedge
the hardest part is keeping the chains taught so you dont loose timing marks

Re: New cams
Okay here is the cam I bought. Is there anything that you think I should do to make the install easier?

make sure you have two days set aside, should take about 6-8 hours
