Painting Wheels
I am looking to paint my FR500 Rims BLACK, and have some questions.
Currently they are black chrome and the clear coat is peeling on all 4 wheels and 2 of them have minor road rash (bought them this way last April) I have the tools to fix the rash.
Just wondering what grit sandpaper should I use to get them ready for primer, what primer to use and what paint to use. looking for the end result to be black with a satin finish.

Re: Painting Wheels
Not that I'm planning on painting any wheels, but that was an awesome how-to. Maybe I should paint my winter wheels...

Nice! Thanks Will!
I want to either repaint my Fanblades or have them powder coated and install them on my Mazda 3.

Re: Painting Wheels
in the video he uses a sanding sponge/block....don't recommend that, they are not as flexible as need be, 3m scotch brite pads are what should be used
