I am searching for a vid from VTEngines that had a destroked 5.4 in a fox notch and it was pulling low 10's.
I don't remember seeing a 331 being able to pull those times, but I could be wrong.
The thing is a 2v wont flow as much as a 4v, and thats where #1 comes into play.
Dont need a 331 to do it...
NMRA Pure Street cars go bottom 10's @ 130+ mph on little 26x10 slicks with a max of 311 ci and limited parts. Pull some ballast out and they are in the 9's. There are some fast 2v Mod motors in the class as well....all are naturally aspirated.
Take Ryan's car for example...
