Anyone Fish??

I dont, but am attempting it since my son and I enjoyed recent trips with his grand dad. Went out to the old severn bridge this morning, lost numerous rigs and caught nothing.

Just curious if any of the local peeps have some fishing holes or knowlegde to pass along......

I fish but don't know much about fishing in md. I'd like to find some local spots too. I've tried the lake by my house with no luck so far. Doesn't help that when I've gone, it's been like 100 degrees out.

Not since I was a kid.

I hit up wye mills couple times a year. I always find a place to fish while camping.

Was just camping at Smoke Hole WV just south of cumberland and west of fredrick. Great campground, and has a stream/river in high season, which I fished for trout. Was low season so the holes were hard to find. Found one spring fed, that still had ice cold water and cought 2 trout. Not the best fishing, but fishing to say the least...

If you have not been Rock or blue fishing out on the bay I highly recommend you taking the entire family. Its a lot of fun and plenty of 40+ inch fish.

Would love to do a Bay charter some time to get a shot at the big ones.

Went by the bridge again today, we caught a total of 13 in 2 1/2 hrs but only one of them was a keeper. As long as they are hitting on the line he seems to enjoy it, didnt have much to bring home but it was a good/fun morning.

What were yall catching?

Bunch of small spots and white pertch, someone this morning caught a rockfish.........LOL, I almost sound like I know what Im talking about.......NOT!
