America '39-'43

I found this to be truly amazing. Many times we look at black and whites, and sometime we relate them to be "classy" and to sometimes hard to relate to that time. However these pictures were in color, its amazing how you can put yourself right there at that time and place. The picture of the damn brought chills. Just imagine working on those cable drag lines back then. Pretty amazing to me the workmanship of the "old school" Americans. Many people from different nationalities made this country the way it is...
