One run at Mason, back in the smmer

earlier in the season, (July) I was at Mason Dixon for T&T. I'm in he staging lanes and I'm next to this Buick (or something like it). It was so loud I couldn't even hear my car over it. I was thinkin' this guy was gonna crack my ass. We stage up, I steal him off the line. As I'm heading down the track I'm waiting for him to come blowing by me. Never saw him. To my surprise, I beat him by .08 tenths. Guess you can't judge a car by how loud it is. that was my best run do date at that point in time. Needless to say, I was quite pleased.

I'll say, I had my sixer at Cecil one fri night for a T&T and every time I got on the line I was next to some hot car and got my *** handed to me, so the last run of the night, I'm next to a Focus, and I'm thinking, finally something I can get in front of, light goes green and I leave him on the line, 3/4 the way down the track he fly's past me, DAMN, I cant even get a break with a Focus

New clutch goes in this week, I break it in gently all winter, then we recalibrate the suspension (and new race struts and get rid of the damn front sway bar) and I'm certain I'll be an easy mid-12. Then the long tubes, GT500 throttle body goes in with a new dyno tune, and I'm hoping to break into the 11s. After that I'll probably give the car to Zach and start over with something else...NOT!

Actually, the video the guy made from dragday for NVMC, he shot from the back wall. I did manage to get a lil tiny bit of air under the left front tire. You have that video I believe according to Zach. It was the 12.16 run I think.

Give the car to Zach, I'm sure he would love that!!

it's been fun going to the track. I have picked up a few things and learned alot too. I finally learned how to do a burn-out in the box!! That was fun.
