Post by chrisverneuil on Wed Mar 31, 2010 11:14 pm

Alright im installing my LSD, In the procces but hit a snag and gotta rent a puller. Thought if anyone wants to come by lend a hand or chill for a lill id let them:). Hit me up at 971 227 2987 if you wanna come. I wont be rollin into the house till about 5 ish. Depening on traff and how long its gonna take to rent that puller. Or if you happen to have a slide puller that would be amazing. Its to pull my axles out. Third member diff.

I've never needed a puller to pull my axles, just remove the C clips and pull the axles out.

I do believe Chris is talking about the rear axle in his RX7, not a Ford axle...

So anyone wanna help? Maybe. If you got the tools to help pulls this dam axle out. The drivers side is frozen on. From age. So need some more pulling or pounding and some heat. And i need to bleed my dam brakes. Then im gonna go let out some frustration.

Do you have a press? The Puller is for the axle bearings. From the looks of it, it uses a press on bearing to eliminate the need for c-clips. Also requires new shim kit. Do you have a dial indicator?

Nice shop manuals here
