Boss281 wrote:Ed, very very well deserved!! Just so you know, Ron Leonard comes from a racing family, and has been bracket racing since his teens. The fact that you came in second against him is phenomenal. Street Sleeper is quite appropriate, and you make sure to rub it in to all us GT owners at the next anniversery dinner!!
Hell yeah X2!!!

My times where a lightning fast 15.6, but they where consistent, I'll tell you when your up against a slow car in brackets I realize that its exciting trying to catch up to a guy thats way down the track, but let me tell you, when your that slow car and you 3/4 the way down the track and your looking at the finish line and then looking in the mirror at this other car coming on STRONG, and back at the line, the car, the line, cheering your car on, Come old girl, faster, faster, thats a rush as well.

And as far as boasting, you all know how I feel about folks talking smack about another's car, well maybe a little, after all, none of the folks I beat where MPSF'ers, so ya, what the hell.

OK now I got that pig pen of car of mine all cleaned up and show ready for OC, 3 weeks and counting

Eddie Represented the 4.0 with honor, He went up against a Modded GT in the First and second rounds, then the third round he went against the Lime Green JPC Turbo 9 second Car winning by getting closer to his dial-in this advanced him to the finals against Ron Leonard. I thought for sure we were going to have a shootout with the two fastest cars.
But the Sonic Blue V6 pulled it off. Way to Go Eddie, way to go. That trophy was well deserved for sure.
BTW there was only one other V6 there and it was a turbo, (Brumby) Bill knocked me out the first round.

Thanks again to all who attended, it was hot but I hope you all had fun. We need to think about both Marc Spaziano's (Marcspaz) Family member who is ill. and Todd Wallace (Rygen) who's Mother is in a coma. they could not attend but we wish them all the best. they left me all alone to pull this event I hope I did ok, It was a first time for me.
