Cold Air Intake / Tuner
It looks like AM has some pretty good deals on CAI - Tuner combos. Can anyone help me out with determining what the difference is between these CAI's?
I'm looking at the C&L Street CAI (no tuner required), C&L Racer CAI, Steeda Complete CAI, and JLT Performance. All come with the SCT SF3 Custom Tuner.
Does anyone have any of these?
I also saw in a previous post that there is an AM discount code for MPSF members, but cannot find it anywhere...
Thanks for the help!

I have the Steeda CAI with the tuner and never had a problem with it. Very easy to install and the instant feeling of "being thrown back in your seat" was felt after install. You will notice a difference for sure.
Both the Steeda and C&L are highly recommended CAIs. I recommend getting one with a tuner.
As for the MPSF code, PM one of the mods and ask for it.

Not sure which is the best, but I plan to get the C&L Racer intake from brenspeed soon, they have the cheapest price for just the CAI. I already have a tuner. If you want to get a cheaper (aka lower price) CAI get the JLT. Alot of people have the JLT and like it. From what I have read, most CAI give gains between 20-30 rwhp with a tune, so get the one you like best.

Re: Cold Air Intake / Tuner
I have the BBK intake because I originally wasn't going to get a custom tune. That was a mistake. I later went to Brenspeed and bought their tuner w/tunes. You definately want to buy a package, as it saves you much more money. If I knew that, I would never have gone with BBK. Spent too much money to change the CAI anyways.
From what I have picked up reading, C&L racer and JLT are extremely popular.
As for AM tunes, I heard they were canned and not custom tuned to your car. You may want to check out Brenspeed where they actually write the tunes for your specific car.

I have the C&L Racer with a Brenspeed 93 tune(r). It woke the car up like crazy and upped the fun factor a TON.

+1
lol, it makes the mustang feel like a completely different beast. I currently run 87 and have yet to try 91. I have an 89 tune, but why not just go all out. Can't wait till it warms up a bit and it's dry before I do WOT with these tunes.

CAI and tuner is an awesome combo for the car. With just those two and dual exhaust my auto v6 pushes 225 rwhp. I have the JLT and the SCT X3

What kind of gas mileage improvements have you guys seen? I'm hoping to maybe save some coin in the long run with the improved milage...
Or does it all even out since you are using a more expensive / higher octane fuel than regular unleaded?

Re: Cold Air Intake / Tuner
Its really hard for me tell, as I had to change my driving habits for winter driving. Instead of a nice pump on the gas to do a quick speed gain and then coasting, I have to slowly pump the gas which in turn eats up more gas. Not tune or CAI related but just to keep from slipping again. I have lost confidence in my stock tires for winter driving.
