As far as inexpensive, it seems that has been thrown out thewindow these days.

I used to have my fox 8.8 gears installed for 100, if I supplied the materials. Then the price jumped and I started doing my own... Not people throw out anywhere from 500-1000...

Out your way I would call up Woodbine, and see what he could do. You have the 7.5 in yours right?

I have done all mine since... not that hard of a job... just fairly tedious getting the right shim pack so it doesnt whine...

yea a grand is way too much lol. i can go to cj's and get it done for around $300, i just hate paying people to work on my car. would love to do this myself but the whole shim thing kinda worries me. really trying to find someone to just help me out possibly even just supervise me so i dont mess it up.

Ive heard a lot of good compliments from Woodbine especially with gear installs. reason why mine was a grand is because i replaced everything and beefed up the rear all at the same time. But i would check woodbine out since youre just doing a gear swap

If you are still in need of the rear gear install, I recommend Bob Thompson with MCOM. He's located in westminster

I will have to call you up in the future then Smile I cant do them myself but you cant beat a price like that and I'd love to watch!!

and as far as Cj's goes... they will do $499 installed i think the price is.. and that includes the price of the gears you want and they also reconfigure your instrument panel and gauges... they will also install a differential at no additional labor costs but of course you must buy the differential :p
