Those are deep dish. I see they make them in 18x8 and 18x9.5, so yes you can stagger.

Looks like I'm back to square one with rims. Well, at least it's still snowing, so still some time yet before spring. These are a little more pricier than the FR500 take offs, but they are Caroll Shelby wheels :o
I was actually originally looking for a two tone rim but somehow I ditched that idea somewhere.

They are a bit pricier and would defintely not let them see winter chemicals. I had my black chrome out in the winter chemicals one time and they cleaned up fine with no spots. I won't go trying it again though
I do have a set of staggered 18s (8.5 and 10)just sitting in the shed. They are the Rev Wheel Cobra 340C (charcoal) (Halibrand knockoffs). The polished lips were trashed during a winter, but I sanded them down and they are now brushed aluminum lips. Still ok, but not shiny anymore. That is the only thing wrong wih them. They would go rather inexpensively and are definitely a classic wheel that you don't see everyday

Here's some quick photoshopping work. What do ya'll think? I like the black, silver and red theme on those rims.

Re: FR500 w/Roush front?
I don't know. IMO, the only colors those wheels really look good on are the dark blue and white cars. Maybe it's due to the fact of the classic wheel on the old school Shelby colors...
The main thing is, that if you like them enough to be happy with them, then that's all that matters
I know wheels can be a tough choice as I've had 4 different sets counting the original 17" Bullitts on mine

I seem to be super picky about wheels, just like when I'm purse shopping lol :p I can look at a ton and pass on them, then just have "that one" jump out at me. I think these are alright, but don't know if I just have my head in the cloud thinking about having real CS wheels.

Re: FR500 w/Roush front?
lol, here's some more photoshop torment/spam. These are FR500's (black), 2010 GT500, and 2007 GT500 (all replicas). I seem to prefer the 2007 GT500's better, but they only come in 18x9.5's. Not sure if it will loose the stagger effect with the same widths. Just keep in mind, I threw on the rims on my stock tires, and I didn't play with the brightness/contrast so they stand out a little.

Re: FR500 w/Roush front?
I've always been partial to the FR500 since they were introduced nearly 10 years ago. I almost bought a set of them in Anthracite for my car during the winter of '08, but fortunately procrastinated long enough to see Laura's black chrome set...and then after that fateful day at the drag strip last Spring...I instantly knew what wheel would destined to be on April! Either set of those FR500s will look good as the anthracite is along the same color as your car and then the black with polished lip have nice contrast with your car. IMO, the '10 GT500 wheel doesn't flow and the '07 GT500 wheel just looks too plain, but is a great choice for an inexpensive wheel that allows big brake upgrades! Even though the GT500 wheels are same size all the way around, they put a slightly wider tire on the back to give it a staggered appearance.

Re: FR500 w/Roush front?
FR500's are extremely popular, but they look good :p Where did they originally come from?
The anthracites seem to look a little drab on light silver, it is all photoshop, not with true lighting, etc. but seems to miss the spark. It looks awesome on a deeper gray, seen some pics on new edge models. How do the black chromes hold up? I seen pictures on MF and their black chrome was all peeling, but possibly due to winter driving. Black is alright, and seems they have a nice pkg deal on cruizin concepts. Comes out to less than $300 wheel w/tire mounted, balanced and shipped.

After a bit of thinking last night, the 2010 GT500 wheels look like a fancy version of the wheels I have now :O

Re: FR500 w/Roush front?
The FR500 Mustang was introduced in '99 as a purpose built Ford built race car and the wheels were designed specifically for that car.

I know the black chrome I have doesn't like to be bumped...I already have 2 or 3 spots were it has been bumped and flaked off. Small, but I know they're there
I had them out in the winter weather once and they are ok, but don't plan on doing it again. I got the black chrome from cruzinconcepts as they were about the only place at the time to have the 18x10.

I may just go with the black then. Hopefully the paint will be more durable, as I can be rough at times, pot holes, etc.
Not sure how I'll get the new wheels on the car, I can't get up the driveway into the garage
