FR500 w/Roush front?

I'm on the verge of picking up a new set of black FR500 rims and tires, but then was wondering if it would look strange with a Roush front. Any opinions?

I wouldn't go with a complete black wheel with your car. You need a wheel that is going to balance out the silver and black. Just IMO.

You could try to swap wheels with someone for a little bit just to see how they look. And i dont mean borrow them but just swap one side and see how it looks. Take pics and see how others feel about it.

As Laura said, I'm not sure how the black wheel will look with all that silver. Sure it's been done, but...eh... Maybe the FR500 in the gray/anthracite would be better suited. I also agree that a wheel swap and pics would be the way to go. I have the black chrome, which depending on the light angle will look very similar to the black.

As long as you get he ones with the polished lip, it will look ok, but definitely take them off and avoid the winter chemicals or the lips will be ruined.

silver and black look pretty pimp... I would go with a gunmetal prolly if it was me.

I was thinking about a black and silver theme, but then I have red seats too.. kinda throws a wrench in there. I don't plan to Roush up the rest of my car either. Was just looking on their site and they do sell 2007 GT500 look a like wheels lol.

You can go to ebay and pick up a set of black leather seat covers pretty cheap. and sell ur to cover the cost:)

Well, if Mike (05RedDevil) had gotten the FR500 wheels, you'd know exactly how they would look with the Roush front, but...

I picked up my car today.. and the rear bumper looks so much better, not 100% perfect, but it's as good as it's going to get.

I asked my sister and my mom, and they both said black is too dark for my color. I think it looks pretty sick but maybe I'm not ready to go that extreme since I'm having second thoughts about black. I may think about the anthracite/gray's instead. They both like my stock rims.. so that kinda tells you something. I thought my stockers looked good until I started paying more attention to other mustang wheels and shopping for rims lol.

Black chrome is also starting to linger on my mind. I'm not a big fan of chrome on itself, but the black chrome may give me the best of both worlds?

Stockers look ok on a not so modded exterior...


...but once you go and start modding large pieces, the stockers definitely hinder the looks...


It's ok if they like the stockers...they're just not as much of a hardcore Stanger as others...

Yeah, thats for sure. My pony looks like it needs new shoes, those just don't do it justice anymore. When I first bought the car, I thought they looked awesome lol.

What do you guys think about these? Can you stagger these? Shows 18x9.5 so I'm not sure if that is considered deep dish or it has to be 10's
