Re: alarm
I just had a guy that installed a avital auto start and alarm on my tundra for 300 to include the alarm. Now it could be more if you have a vehicle that requires a bypass for auto start for the security chipped keys. I usually stick with viper, Dei, or avital. All are basically the same company and have excellent products. Not to mention viper just released there I phone app for there alarm very nice feature for around 24.00 a year.

Re: alarm
i've used Viper in the past. no complaints. i'd have an actualy audio/sound shop do the install. Avoid stores like Best Buy if you can. I know a good shop in Ellicot City, MD. Zak (Zporta) is good friends with the owner (Doug). We built my sub box there and he knows his stuff. Thats Zaks GT500 on their homepage... http://www.freshdesignsinc.com/

Re: alarm
Depends if you can remember not to leave your car in a gear. If so it will jump when trying to start. I would not but everyone has there own oppinions.
