Just to update everyone

Castaways has been sold but the new owners are exited about keeping the Mustang show, and its still on, the new name of the place is now Freddies, see you there

OK folks, time to start planning for this weekend

OK to clear up any confusion, the Hot Rod weekend and the MCOM Mustang show at Castaways is the weekend of Friday May 21, MCOM show at Castaways is Saturday May 22, and the last day of the Inlet show is Sunday May 23.

This is NOT the Import weekend {other then GM & Chrysler}

The Mustang show at castaways is off the hook, there's got to be around 200-300 mustangs or more come threw there during the show, heres a link to the MCOM page on the show

I will have to try to make it this year. I haven't been to the show in OC for a few years, plus that is where I grew up.

finally its not the same weekend as NMRA in New Jersey. so i plan on making it to OC this year. havent been to OC since 2006

i'll be there. already been planning for it. we are headin down thursday evening

time to take off work!

I'll most likely be there with the camera. Oh, and to upset some people ;)

Headed down either Thursday evening or Friday day, depends on cruisers, I suppose. We've got the condo again this year, and y'all know we're up for crashers. Standard entry fee is a case 'o beer! And you know there'll be some Jager......

I'll be down Wednesday evening sometime. You would be surprised how many people are there on Wednesday.

I am going to try and make it this year. It all depends on the progress of the project here at work and if I can get off or not. But would like to, I have never tried. There is also a Dubs City car show this year at the OC convention center. I am possibly going to try and enter that as well.

the Dubs City show isnt the huge VW weekend is it? I know they have have some big euro/vw events in OC. Might be weird rolling up the show in your mustang
