Crazy Time @ Drift Nirvana

Post by 05RedDevil on Sun Dec 06, 2009 5:51 pm

Wow. So I know this thread is worthless without pictures but I have to get the pics & vids from my friends then I'll post soon.
Me and some buddies went to Summit for Drift Nirvana today (Sunday, 06DEC2009). It was an incredibly fun time with pretty minimal damage to the car. It most certainly did not escape unscathed!
Besides the fun of popping my drift cherry, I learned a good bit . . . by letting Vaughn Gittin Jr drift my car. It was hillarious when he stopped. My tires were smoking. My brakes were smoking. Also, my side skirts had a tiny bit of melting due to the side exhaust getting so incrediby hot.

My mind is still racing so I can't even think but the pictures will say plenty

I'm impressed they could clear the facility of the snow that quickly. Must have worked all night!

C'mon, Bernie, Mustangs are excellent for drift and the Falken Mustang driven by Vaughn Gittin Jr is amazingly awesome. Also, did you read the recent Road & Track where the cover article listed the top 7 cars for drifting and see the Mustang right in the mix . . . or do you not read?

I'll settle for my mid-11's on the quarter and also branch out to autocross, circuit racing, car shows and drifting. Sorry I'm not 1 dimensional

That is awesome, Mike!!!!! That is cool as S@%# to have Vaughn drive your car Did you happen to have him sign your car somewhere other than leaving his "mark" on your side skirts???? I look forward to seeing the pics/vids. There might have been some members from the NVMC and/or the NVCC there as well. There are some road racing junkies in those two clubs!
