Army Ten Miler

Post by Dominican7 on Tue Oct 06, 2009 1:31 pm

So on Sunday I participated in the ARMY Ten Miler (That's a 10 Mile Race) for the second year in a row. I was not ready for it this year considering that I didn't train for it and only got about 4 hours of sleep the night before . The Wife and I went to a Salsa club and danced until 1:00am and missing the race was not an option. I got to the starting line at 0800 hours and off we went 21,289 Racers and I came in at 8,661 place...LOL

Any ways I finished in 1:32:05 which was 2.5 minutes faster than last year. cheers

I have some pictures of the event that I will post in the near future.

I can imagine! I work with a few former Marines that run marathons, they did a 50 miler up in Pa not long ago.....and it rained.
