Thanks Ed,
It was my first cruise and a great one !
Famous Quotes to sum up the cruise.....maybe...
"Break it in like you are going to drive it later" - or -
" Drive it like you stole it ( and the police are chasing you !! ) " - or - " Officer I was only trying to keep up, I don't know where I am < oh, the Nav system in my car.... well uh ...>"

I was in the last 6 that got seperated at a light, then missed a turn, then did a pretty good job of catching up, then slowed down again..... The other 5 were good drivers, and I was only trying to keep up LOL

Great Time
I had to bug out early to get to party in Crownsville

GOD Bless
Buck

^I remember you. I was the one leading after we turned off that one wrong road. Too bad I didn't know where we were eventually going, cuz we could have taken 77 east to 15 and been there in like 5 min instead of that backroad stuff. Oh well it was fun Smile Anyone know what the speed limit was near that one camera and the sign that said "speeders smile"? I didn't see any flash so that's a good sign.... Loved your car btw

SVT also is having a Catoctin Mountain Cruise on November 1st. If you need the PDF file showing the route and all the details, please contact John Capoccia at jcapoccia@comcast.net. Meeting at 9 AM at the State Farm HQ in Frederick. Ending Early afternoon at Cunningham Falls State Park with lunch. $5.00 to cover food. If the weather holds up I think it's going to be a blast

Congrats, Ed and MPSF. Looks like you put on a GREAT cruise. The pics make me wish I could have been there.

I am sorry about the confusion. I knew months ago I was too committed to my track schedule to put on a cruise this year, and fortunatly some others stepped up. Unfortunatly, they happened to be on different weekends. I wasn't really involved in the planning for either event, except to offer advice, having been at Virginia International Raceway 3 weeks ago and Summit Point last weekend. The good news is I got 4th on Sunday.

I don't know if I'll be attending the cruise next weekend, as I need to prep the car for another Summit Point on Nov 7/8. It depends on how much I get done. But it looks like you guys had the weather gods on your side. I hope it holds out for another 2 weeks.

Congratulations on taking 4th place. Good job. With a little luck and cash I hope to have a car put together for road racing in two years. I will be talking to you then about how to drive it.

Congrats Greg, and I found the wrong turn and fixed it, I'll send the updated directions to John tomorrow, you said that 550 turned into Ft Richie Rd, if you stay on Ft Richie rd the next thing you come to is Skunk Hallow on your left, it should be on your right, but if you stay on 550, it turns into Military Rd, then left on McAfee Hill rd, and for the fast rout, straight onto Ft Richie rd, and that brings you to Skunk Hallow on your right, where it should be, LOL.
Good thing you only have to run the same route over and over at the race track, or you'd come in dead last
