NHRA-Oct 11 in VA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Alrighty all...the big boys are invading central VA. Who all is interested in going on Sunday for the Eliminations??? Me and another guy plan on getting reserved seats ($55) and was wondering if anybody here would like to join in and sit together as a group. The deadline for this will be Noon on this Friday (11th) as we want to get our tickets early. Reserved seating is worth the extra $10 so that when we get up and walk around, we know we have seats when we get back. Plus you get to sit from the burnout box to just past the 60' mark (depending on what seats you get).

SUNDAY, October 11, 2009
Spectator Gates Open 8:30 AM
Pre-Race Ceremonies 10:00 AM
Final Eliminations 11:00 AM
Secure Event 4:30 PM

My dad and cousin are coming up and we were going to go down there saturday and watch it.

I'll be there on Friday. Just went to NHRA Maple Grove last month and had a blast. Of course rain never fails at that track. good times

I've always wanted to go to a NHRA event. Let me ask the wife if she wants to go.

Well, the cutoff time has arrived and we're ordering the two reserved seat tix. Nothing stopping others from getting tix We can still hang out down closer to the track and around the pit area or even sit in the GA section for a bit.

Sounds like fun, but we've just got so much going on. I'm not sure what the schedule will allow, but as it gets closer, I'll let you know, John.

I highly recommend that you & the wife go at least once. its an experience!!!! i was skeptical at my first one 4 years ago now i go every year

Eliminations start at 11 am. I'm going to try and be there by 10. I know I'm meeting a couple of people here in F'burg (Exxon station right off of 95 exit 130B) at 8 am to head on down.
