Alice in Chains - 9/4 at the 930 Club in DC

A few of us are going to this show next Friday. Can't wait to see these guys...too bad Lane is no longer with us anymore!

My buddy had a bunch of tickets and has 2 left. I told him I would ask around and see if anyone else wanted to join. The tickets are $50 each. Let me know if you want either or both of the tickets. Or just post up that you're already going so we can all meet up and rock the eff out!!!

Can't wait! Are there any plans on meeting up before the show? I know the two others coming with me leave work (same place I work) at 3 PM in Woodbridge. I see there is a Metro stop not that far away from the club, but not sure how that "neighborhood" is after the show...

Its been a while since Ive been there. I work in DC and will prolly go to a bar for a while before the show. Ill check it out and try to come up with something.

Q: Are you near the METRO?
A: Yes, we are 2 blocks from the Green Line U St / African American Civil War Memorial / Cardozo Station. Make sure you exit toward 10th Street to be closest to the club. Last Train Home: Sun-Thurs 11:44p, Fri-Sat 2:30a. For further Metro information please visit wmata

Take the Green Line to the U Street stop. Make sure you walk out on the Vermont Ave. side and NOT 13th street side. The Vermont street side is at the intersection of Vermont, 10th, and U. When you get to the ground level, make a "U" turn and walk to the right (east) along U street to Vermont, and walk up Vermont one block to the club. (If you get out one the 13th street side of the metro stop, it's a much much longer walk...):

There is a monitored lot on 9th Street. COME EARLY AND PARK FOR ONLY $10!

I'll go to this as well!! Let me know what you all figure out as for meeting up. I gotta look at my work schedule for next week so I can't make final plans as of yet.

If I meet the girls at work at 3, I don't see why we couldn't be up in that area around 4ish to hang out and eat/drink or whatever.
