Adjust clutch?

Adjust clutch?
Is the clutch on a 01 GT adjustable? As in, currently, I have to press the clutch "through the floor" in order to shift smoothly. If it aint to the floor, it's tougher to change gears. With the clutch all the way out, I can pull it back towards me about an inch or so and I was wondering if I could take up that little bit of slack? Any ideas?

Aren't the stock ones supposed to auto-adjust? I just can't quite figure out how to get it to take up the slack...

Yes they are supposed to. By pulling the pedal twards the seat fairly firmly it will help the auto adjuster to release and tighten. However if yours is way stretched its possible the adjustment is farthest it can go.

Re: Adjust clutch?
u can also try sidestepping the clutch. Meaning put it all the way to the floor then slide your foot off so it comes slamming back to the top. This has worked for me in the past when pulling up on the pedal has not.

Re: Adjust clutch?
Nope, goes right in one 8mm bolt slide it out, slide in, re hook the clutch cable.
When I did mine I went ahead and did the cable(adjustable one) fire wall adjuster and quadrent.
