Trunk Lid ??

Post by ndnboy on Sun Jul 05, 2009 6:35 pm

Have any of u used a bike carrier on your stang? If so, how did the deck lid handle the load?

I was attempting to use my old carrier which I used with my Accord back in the day and noticed the deck lid seemed VERY flimsy while I was snugging the carrier onto the back. One portion of the carrier was sitting ontop of the deck lid with the other part on the gas tank emblem. Decklid was bowing/flexing quite a bit, didnt feel comfortable putting the load of the bike on it.......any input???????

or just run around neighborhood vs taking the kids bike to the trail Smile
