Not for a drag day. If you're trying to run something other than a ford, you have to have prior approval. I know this b/c I have asked previously. I mean, it is a Mustang club event.

As always, I had a great time! Wish I could have gotten in a couple more runs, but I am glad I got the stationary burnout down, now I just need to fine tune it. And I am feeling the itch for some "go fast" parts.
Thanks to John for helping swap out the tires.....not once, not twice, but 3 times LOL.

I will work on the vids soon. It's awesome watching them in HighDef on the big screen!
I set a new best, although I thought I could get better 60ft times:
60ft - 1.880
1/8 - 8.76
MPH - 80.55
1/4 - 13.604
MPH - 99.96
I had a blast! Randy and I ran each other 9 times...Each one was neck and neck! I won the series but each race could've gone either way. Can't wait til next time!

Re: NVMC Drag Day June 27
It was a great time!
Running full interior plus aftermarket stereo stuff in the trunk really hurt my passes! I was hoping for some 13.3s as my best full interior/trunk stripped passes have been 13.2s. It was hot and the best I could muster was 13.4 @ 99 ... It was still lots of fun!
I lost count of how many tire swaps I did there at the track (all on the same two cars)! Not to mention the one I did the day before putting on my DRs at the house, then helping Spaz switch his back in his driveway. I still have to swap mine back, which I'll do tomorrow if it's not raining. Big thanks goes out to L for finding my wheel lock
Can't wait to see the video...unedited!!!!!

Ok, Ed!

I don't know if I got your last couple, Laura... You did much better with the first gear burnouts as Sally couldn't stay in the water long enough to really smoke them up in second. I found that if I moved too far out of the water, those tires pushed me no matter how much I was standing on the brakes! Gotta love the DRs

Next time out, I hope to have an aluminum driveshaft, line locks and another trick or two to get this "full weight + some" back into the 12s!
