Werd, i miss my F250.

As for ease of maintenance....diesels are pretty simple; air filter, fuel filter, and oil.......

Last week I wanted to see what kind of deal I could get on a new truck. They are still not hungry enough. 52k for a 09 350 KR PSD is still asking a lot. I would have walked out with a new truck if he was 7 less.

The SVO has a blown head gasket. My oldest is buying it slowly but surely, and wants to pull the 2.3 and rebuild it with some sturdier components. He says a rock solid 300hp is doable. We'll see.

Definately doing Charlotte and Kentucky, maybe Columbus. Would do Atco but I don't like missing the Ocean City Mustang Show the same weekend. Already got my hotel for that event.

If you're interested check out www.s197-mustang.com for our East Coast S197 shootout this November in Charlotte. Have one magazine covering it so far, and trying to get MM&FF in there as well. Vinny Barber is likely to come, and we're trying to get a response out of JPC and see if he wants to repeat that shootout from last year.

Gas prices down, truck prices become steady and a profitable platform again. Even the used dealers are being pains.

Vinny is building a beast now.

I'd like to try some NMRA events, what class are you going to run.

Superstang (SST). There are several folks across the S197 forums that run in this class, plus it's just brackets. That's why I pulled together the Shootout: we developed classes to give folks a chance in heads up racing.

Just read the rules for that class. That's a class I can do and not get crushed by the big boys.

Definitely a cool pic, and good luck with the truck. Ford trucks FTW!

It's still raining here in PA, so hopefully it's all done soon and I can get my baby cleaned up
