Dyno tuning a carb
Can anyone recommend a good place with a chassis dyno that has the experience to tune a carb vice efi? I live down in the southern tip of the peninsula between the Potomac and the Patuxent rivers, so I expect to have to drive a bit north, but hopefully not so far as Baltimore.
Thanks in advance.

Justin at JPCracing in Glen Burnie is a great guy. He has a dyno, and can tune great.

are you talking about rejetting or something like that, or do you just need it adjusted, I'm good with carbs, I was a Ford Mechanic in the late 70's, this new stuff I dont know much about

Re: Dyno tuning a carb
It's not bad, I just wanted to dial it in on a dyno where I can make sure the changes are really making an improvement. It runs a tad rich at part throttle. Thanks for the offer though!

Re: Dyno tuning a carb
what kind of carb are you running? just out of curosity
a good air/fuel gauge in the exhaust might be a wise investment. you dont have an onboard computer to tune the efi for you so arleast you'll know whats going on your self and can tune accordingly. carbs are rarly a set it and its good forever kind of thing anyway
