well i have another post in the lounge about what happend to my stalion but does anyboby know if a 3550 or a t5 will work in place of my t45 reason being i need a traany i cn put a blow proof on. its a 2000 gt

Not sure if the T5 or 3550 will match up with the T45 bell housing, but they all have a bell housing that does fit. I believe the shifters are all different as well.

the prob is the t45 doesnt have a detachable like the 5 or 3550 and i know they make blow proofs for 94-98 4.6 with a t-5 but does anybody know if the 94-98 bellhousing bolt pattern different then the 99-04

Mcleod has a blow proof bell housing for the TKO and modular block. The tko and 3550 have the same tranny to bellhousing bolt pattern. They also make a modular to t-5 bellhousing.
