2009 Philly Cheesesteak Run - 4/11/09

A ticket....for the dumbest reason known to man.


Following too close, when i was a little close but not dangerously close. the cop said they had a bunch of calls about us driving dangerously. When it wasnt us, it was another club and i was in back of the line so i got popped with a $110 ticket.

Needless to say, i will be fighting this.

Here is how Mike got rubber all over Johns car.

So how long was the cruise and how many miles?

Enough miles where I topped up my gas between college park ikea and white marsh ikea then had to get more on the way home. I must have been leaking fuel or something because I was getting 9.8 mpg. I know my drivig style had nothing to do with it

O EFFING K!!!!!

well, we all met at Ikea in College Park at 1000am. it was still pouring like hell so we decided to go under the store in the oarking garage. well that didn't last long because security and the manager of ikea got pissed because we were revving and being loud so she kicked us out. needless to say, a few were pissed so they decided to do burnouts before we rolled out of the garage....not pointing any fingers(Mike)!!

we all headed back to our original spot. was probably a good 50 of us there. mostly imports there and only a few of us stangers. we then headed to the Ikea up at White Marsh, still raining like hell. made it up there at around 12ish. hung out for a bit, and there were a shyt load of other vehicles waiting for us. probably brought then number to about 100 or so. rolled out of there at 1215ish, still raining. took about an hour an a half to get to Philly, as there was traffic due to the rain. over all, it was about a 2-3 hour cruise. and around 200+ miles all together.

we hung up in Philly for a few hours bsing and eating....the food was GOOD!! by the time we were finished the sun was out and the roads were dry. all cruised back together and had a little fun with some Nissan 350z. Mike and i played a bit too.


all in all, it was a good time!!
