Re: **Stang of the Month** February 2009
WOW! Thanks guys!
I gotta admit I haven't been online much lately. My excuse is I have a daughter in college at Temple, and we've been trying to get her back from a fall of overseas study in Ghana and into an apartment in Philly, while bringing together all the finances. That plus holidays has consumed my time. As for mods, most were done last spring, with a few coming up this spring. Always before the open track season.
Here's what's been done:
Chassis: Brooks Performance Stage IV Suspension including: KB sub frame connectors and Extreme Matrix system, MM panhard rod, '95 Cobra R springs, Bilstein shocks/struts, KB lower control arms, urethane bushings, 3.90 gearing, Brembo calipers and rotors, brake cooling ducts, Steeda bumpsteer kit, X-2 ball joints, Custom front cross-brace with KB G-Load brace, Steeda adjustable rear sway bar, Cobra R 17x9 wheels w/BFG R1 slicks (17x8 wheels with full tread Proxie RA1s for rain). Stein Replica 17x9 wheels with Falken Azenis RT-615 tires for the street.
Engine: Cold air intake, Canton roadrace oil pan, Magnaflow catted X-pipe, SLP Loudmouth 1 catback, Odyssey battery.
Interior: Autopower rollbar, Hunsaker seats, 6 pt G-Force harness, MGW shifter, oil pressure/oil temp/water temp gauges.
And here's a couple pics from the last track event at Summit Point last year.

Hard braking!

I like the last one best because I'm lifting the inside front wheel. Anyone who says sub frame connectors don't help should see this! LOL
I promise I'll try and stay involved in the club. But my car's actually kinda ratty compaired to many of yours. It's just an old track dog, like me.

In the pics, that is one nice looking blue! I'll see it in person one day. You have the brake cooling ducts hooked up to what used to house the fog lights?

Thank you.
Yes. I had the inlets inboard at first, but was overheating in summer months after 15~20 laps, so the lights had to go.
I have a couple pictures of the ducting at my Car Domain page http://www.cardomain.com/id/gcassidy
