Gauge Install
OK now I need a hand. 1st, I don't know where the oil sender is, any one?
2nd, I know where the water temp sender is, and there seems to be another hole rite next to it, is there a plug in there and can I put the second sending unit for the after market gauge in there?
before you say it, I know I have to leave the originals hooked up for the computer.
Thanks

Re: Gauge Install
If the second plug is a water port than yes.
Oil sender unit shoudl be somewhere near your oil filter adapter. It has to ahve pressure so there will be a boss with the stock sending unit is. You can get some brass fittings and make a T. one side put your stock sendnig unit and the other to your aftermarket guage.

Re: Gauge Install
Thanks Will, I'm just not sure if that second water hole is an actual a hole, or if it just looks like one, if not, I'm not sure what to do, you cant just T it off like the oil.
I know about the T for the oil, I just wasn't sure where the actual sender was.

Unfortunately witht he water you need to have the sensor in the water passage to get the correct reading. It has to be immersed in the flowing water. If its a plug, back it uot, and look to see ig there is coolant in there.
