Mustang Week - Myrtle Beach July 20-26

Post by SVT_N8 on Wed Jan 21, 2009 5:09 pm

I just made my reservations for mustang week at Myrtle Beach. July 20-26. www.mustangweek.com . The sheraton convention center is the main hotel, thats where i booked my room. I got an ocean front room with private balcony. I am going down on the 24th (thursday) and staying til the 26 (Sunday). Should be a great time. So who else is going?

I went two years ago and had a blast. But I'm doing a lot of racing this year so no real vacation this summer. :-(

Depending on work, I should be going this year. My aunt has a condo down there that I would be staying in if I can go. Later on, once I get confirmation on whether or not I can go and if her condo is available, I will let yall know and people can crash there if they want. It's got 3BR and is in North Myrtle.

i got a "suite" at sheriton which they said has 2 beds in the bedroom and then a fold-out couch in the living room and a kitchen etc. I will have the room mon-sun and am looking for people to throw in on it (just to make it cheaper) the cost is 200 a night so if i can find 1-2 to go in on it itll be cheaper but whatever just throwing it out there.

And yea will if i go down later Ill def roll with ya (hope u have a radar detect :-)

Might have training for my new job for two damn weeks in July...if not, count me in!

As with OC, I'll pitch in for a room.

i do have a radar detector which is collecting dust since its illegal in VA. Anyway, i too have a suite but i think it just has a single king size bed with a kitchen and private balcony. Did you get the mustang week discount? I booked mine at $289 the first nite and $189 the remaining nights. It gets cheaper the longer you stay. They said they would call me back within 24hrs with the mustang week rate so it'll be cheaper than that. I'll let you know what the rate is once i find out.

I will keep you all posted. It's not on the beach but about 4-5 blocks from it and is in a nice community. "Bogey", the golfcart is there to get around to save on gas Smile

Sounds good to me! I won't know for sure until the date gets closer though. I should know by May I think. If I find out before then, I will post up!

I'd like to go, but because I'm traveling so much this year, I won't really know until closer to June/July. I'd love to go in on a room with someone though.
