just ordered some painted mirror covers

Well i just ordered a set of painted mirror covers from american muscle for 74.99... I have always liked the look of these and forgot all about them...i stumbled across them and was like NOW THAT IS A MOD I CAN AFFORD!!! i hope they look good... since AM is in PA is should get these wed.

Z, did you get the AM discount for MPSF or another site????

GT500 comes with brake ducts, well at least my front end has the housings for the hoses. The housings are all built in, just need to cut the honeycomb out and hook up the hoses. Oh and also add the backing plates.

Grats I got the Half covers for christmas, not the full ones, I think they were 74.00 from CJ Pony Parts also from PA. Easy to install, just trim the one piece of the tape and slap it on the side. My suggestion is to press them on starting from the bottom they will line up better......I learned my lesson as I had to pull one off because I put it on crooked. But they look sharp, and OEM quality.

i got the discount from MF...and these are the half covers as well...2 many ppl have been bitching about RPI's covers so i said i would hold off...and i might like this look better...so ill have pics up when they come in...if the install doesnt take me 2 long...

Just remember the prep work!!!!! It is the most crucial step! Without it, your mirror covers may fall off. The best way to prep it is using rubbing alcohol and clean rags or paper towels. Wiping it with a clean rag/towel, letting it dry (about a minute depending on air temp/humidity) and repeating at least 4-5 times will work. Another step that is optional is using an adhesion promoter which will make the double sided tape stick even better. I used the adhesion promoter on my chin spoiler and it took quite a lot of abuse and never even though of coming unstuck! My abuse issues were that I broke the fender well mounting tabs twice!
