If you're going Spec get the SpecIII+. Pedal feel is close to normal and there are few, if any, reported problems. The SpecII+ is hit or miss.

For drag racing, steel is a good choice, for road racing and other activities that keep high in the rpm band, the aluminum.

I have the Spec Stage 2+ Clutch and Spec Steel Flywheel. I haven't had any issues with it to date but I've only put about 2000 miles on it. They went it when I changed the s/c pulley. I kept with steel fly as it maintains a closer to stock driviability. The AL one will stall out a lot easier and my 'stang is my only car so I'm keeping it easy to drive

ok so i've been lookin at these clutches.i'm wonderin if it's worth the trouble to upgrade to a 26 spline input shaft?i'ld imagine its much stronger than the 10 spline oe.but does the tranny have to be pulled apart?

05reddevil it sounds like we're puttin out bout the same power.so the spec holds alright w/ the rwtq #'s?i'm leanin twords the same clutch.the pedal pressure bout the same as stock?
