When purchasing a car you do not have to have it emission tested. But two years after you have owned it you do have to have it tested and every two years following. unless your cars build date is prior to 1975 which then you are exempt.

No matter what county you live in its a state law not a county law. Emissions is a state wide test.

They do not have an emission station in Garrett and Allegany counties. The MVA site says that those counties must travel to Washington county for emissions every two years.

LMAO...so ppl probably dont get it done since they dont wanna drive to it if anything. id figured thered be a penalty lol for not doing it (if theres any truth to ppl not doin emissions--odd to me)

go to yellowpages.com , look up an inspection station in Allegany County (21502) and call and ask. I live 5 miles from Allegany County, went to school there, my dad still works there, and thats where all my friends are. None of them have ever gotten smogged.

Hey check with your brother a head of time and see if he can get you the 35% stickers. i just went through this with my honda civic (daily comuter) had no stickers and it was tinted 35% and the inspection station would not pass it. I had to take it to DMV and have it tested with the meter by the trooper and it read 35.5% and he gave me a letter and the stickers. I then went to the inspection station to get the certificate. Just want to save u some time.

yah, i got stickers for my truck but the stang registered 28% which is a little much to try to get by with. On another note, i think i am buyin a home in Belle Haven, VA so now i have to check their procedures.

FYI As a formor Balto city police officer I would sometimes pull cares over without a front tag. If the tag was in the window it was failure to display a proper tag. You can get pulled over just for not have a front tag.

they will fit perfectly in the gap at the center of the front bumper on s197s....the sn95s require modifying/widening or opening.
