SVTOA catoctin mountain cruise Oct 25 2009

Hi All, I edited this post because there is good feed back in it all ready, instead of making a new thread

OK kiddies don't fret, I'm talking with folks now, John the cook would still like to do it, and I told Greg that we can take the reigns on this thing.

Moose, you all where talking about doing a Md cruise, how bout talking to your folks and see if they would like to partner with us and maybe the NJ Stangers if there interested on this and make it happen under our 3 names.

Vlad, it was October last year as well, and I got a lot of stuff going on rite now so I would greatly appreciate it if you could start a thread on the Stangers about this and let them know whats going on,
Oh, and one more thing, smaller scale? I don't think so, lets make this one even bigger, why between the Patriots/ NJ Stangers and No Va, we can do this.

As for the route, I can get that from Greg, this all ways happens in October for the changing of the leaves, so I think we should keep the original date of October 18, but we can talk about that.

I don't think it's been announced yet. GCassidy usually sets that up and I haven't seen him on here in a while. I would guess that it'll be mid October.

Just saw over on SVTPerformance forums that he is not doing it this year b/c of too many other things going on...

If you plan on doing it in Early November I'd be more than happy to do recon on routes with y'all. Are there any notes or memory of the routes from last year or year before? I went in 2007 and loved the cruise

Sounds like a nice cruise to go on. If i'm in town I will def be down for it.

I've never been on that cruise...yet. I'd like to, just hope my schedule permits it...
