MPSF Catoctin Moutain Cruise 2009
Starting a new thread for the upcoming Catoctin Moutain cruise on Sunday Oct 25th. Please copy and paste the below listed info on sites to spread the word and start a sign up list.
UPDATE!!!
OK, this is a map, yes an actual map LOL of the route, Click on the link and My suggestion, zoom in on the pieces of the route and print them out, specially around the Ft Richie part, you should have some ware around 10 pages if you do it rite, I will have corrected written directions with me, but you should bring the map, if your so inclined and such a nice person, you mite printout and bring extras for others.
Map of the cruise Route
Also as there will be no pick nick on the 25th, you should bring food, or, the Cozy resteraunt is not far, and they have great food
OK then the date is officially set for 10/25/09.
In the event that Greg and the SVTOA cancel the Catoctin Mt Cruise, the Maryland Patriot Stangs & Fords (MPSF) have decided on Oct 25, 2009 to go on a ride in the country using the route that the Catoctin Mt cruise has used, if you wish to join us that would be great.
MPSF will meet at White Marsh Park & Ride. I'll be at the WMPR at 6:30 and we roll for SS at 6:45, Security Square Mall off the Bmore beltway by 7:15 am to depart at 7:45 am, there will be a meet stop in Mt Airy (McD's/gas available) at 8:15 to depart at 8:45, then plan to meet at the State Farm Insurance Company building north of Frederick, MD by 9:15 on Sunday morning, and plan on starting cruise at 9:45 am. The route will be similar to those in the past to spend time cruising and enjoying the beauty of fall in the mountains, there will be plenty of winding roads, covered bridges and autumn foliage.
This is not an official sponsorship, and everyone will be solely responsible for their own actions, MPSF assumes no liability for any claims which may arise as a result of your participation. We will fill in additional details in the upcoming weeks.

Re: MPSF Catoctin Moutain Cruise 2009
If anyone wants to volunteer to help out please let Ed/BigBlue know. In the past there has been a $5 collection taken for a cookut style ending to the cruise, if there are MPSF members that want to head this up please sound off, if not, cruisers can plan on bringing coolers with their own goodies.
We will try and have hand-outs with the listed RT for those that always seem to get turned around, if u r familiar with the area and want to lead let us know......

Can't make it this year unless Adrienne's friend's wedding gets postponed for some reason...maybe I should start hitting on the bride-to-be

Dont bother, you'll just make her sick and screw up the honeymoon for the groom.
