Where do we have this Meet

Note in Carroll County, we have a large cruise-in EVERY Saturday. On the first and third Saturdays, it's the Jimmy Cone in Mt. Airy. On the second and fourth Saturdays, it's the Home Depot in Eldersburg. The latter might be more interesting as there are more places to eat (Mt. Airy has surprisingly little except fast food). I usually hit one of each every month of the car season.

Interesting. Is that stangs only?

Re: JULY Meet, Hagerstown/Frederick?
No, all makes and models, although you see a lot of 1st gen Camaros and Chevelles. For the longest time, it was mostly American muscle and antiques, but this year we're seeing some foreign customs, low riders. It's all good.
This weekend is the fifth weekend of the month, which generally results in confusion and folks heading to one or the other site, since there isn't an agreement for those odd 5 weekend months...

Here's a link to the Jimmy Cone event from Saturday 6-21-2008. I kind of focused on the Mustangs that were there, but it's a pretty busy event:

You should see Suzanne's ride with Bernie poking his head around the car.

Re: JULY Meet, Hagerstown/Frederick?
OK I say we make it on the 26th, if its in the after noon the drag folks can come after the track, and I had an idea, lets go to Barbara Fritchies Candy Cane Restaurant, it been there for ever, and its kinda neet

Its just north of Frederick, so its close to the Hegerstown folks, rite there for the Frederick crew, and not far for the MoCo folks.

Re: JULY Meet, Hagerstown/Frederick?
OK, this post is kind of long. Bear with me. July 26th:
The track rental is on the 26th. It goes from 8AM until noon, and the cruise-in at Williamsport starts at noon. Why don't we have our meet at the cruise in? It's got food, ice cream and a DJ.
The people from our club, as well as the (dozen or so??) people from NVMC can all come over after they get done racing and we can take over the cruise in! Williamsport is 10 minutes south of Hagerstown and 10 minutes west of the Mason Dixon dragway. Everything is close to I-70.

OK, that link kind of sucked. Try this one and scroll down to the 26th. http://www.carshowlink.com/July.html
Re: JULY Meet, Hagerstown/Frederick?
If I read the info rite you want us to raid a GM event. Nothing against GM and all but wont that defeat the purpose of having a FORD mtg. Not to mention we have to pay a fee to sit in the show area. Im not busting your chops, I just want to get the facts str8, plz correct me if Im wrong. Other than that it sounds like a good event w/ proceeds going to a good cause.
