That will be badass when you, Zak and I are able to get our cars out and in a row for pics. Being able to see the progression from Zak's VB GT500 to mine then yours. Our cars will all share a common theme
...except power, as mine is far less than both of yours

Re: 3/8/09 **NEW** DC Cruise the Monuments
Ok homies, here is a breakdown of the route for anyone that may want to print them out, should be good-to-go
**Sunday March 8th, meet at Bowie @ 11 AM and depart no later than 1130am**
• Meet spot – Loews parking lot, Bowie, MD, Exit 13S on Rt50
• Rt50W toward DC
• Rt295S / Kenilworth Ave
• Exit 3B Howard Rd, right at stop sign
• At light, make right, merge onto South Capitol st and cross bridge (Nats Stad)
• After bridge, stay in left lane, merge onto Rt395S (FYI - no merge area)
• Once on Rt395S, stay in lane, Exit onto Maine Ave (Wash. Marina, Jeff /Wash Mem, Tidal Basin)
• Right on 17th St (WW2, Wash Mem)
• Right on Constitution Ave (White House, Wash Mem)
• Right on Pennsylvania Ave to 1st St (Capitol)
• Capitol stop, should be able to loop around 1st St, hop out for quick photo shoot in front of Capitol, parking available on first come basis so if available we can park and walk around a bit.
• Exit onto 3rd St, right onto Independence Ave
• Ohio Dr, behind Lincoln Mem onto Memorial Bridge
• Stay in middle / right lane of bridge, enter/exit circle
• Take 2nd left toward Rosslyn/Marine Corps Mem, merge right exit at Rosslyn/Key Bridge
• Left onto N Meade St, left onto Marshall Dr (Marine Corps Mem, Arling. Cem.)
• Marine Mem stop, Cruise around Mem, park out front for a quick pop out photo-op, we can then park and walk onto Mem site and if folks want, we can access Arling. Cem. From here on foot
• Exit on Marshall and make right onto Rt110 (Arlington Cem.)
• Take 1st exit toward the Air Force Mem to Washington Blvd
• Exit onto Columbia pike/Rt244 (Air Force Mem)
• AF Mem stop, Park at bottom of Mem for photos
• Exit onto Columbia Pike and cross over to South parking lot of Pentagon
• Pentagon stop, Park at South Lot (9-11 Mem)
From there we can exit onto Washington Blvd to GW Parkway N, cruise up to the
Beltway/Rt 495 and head toward MoCo for some food/drinks. There are a few overlook spots if anyone wishes to stop off the GW. I will need someone to take lead at that point and get us to the grub.

Re: 3/8/09 **NEW** DC Cruise the Monuments
Juan, just a heads up, I was with a civilian and retired military car club last weekend, we had 24 cars roll into the south lot at the pentagon to go to the memorial, and we were stopped, don't know if they had a specific threat, but the Marine I spoke with told us we should have given them a heads up, after he spoke with the guy who coordinated the cruize all was cool .. just thought you should know.

Re: 3/8/09 **NEW** DC Cruise the Monuments
Are you going to contact them, Juan, so we don't have some huge smack down laid upon us?
I was there a few years ago with family. We rode the metro, walked up to ground level, started walking over towards the wing that was hit and were stopped by security. After we told them what our intent was, they escorted us to where they were constructing the memorial and only allowed photos of very limited areas (none of which included the newly constructed wing or the construction of the memorial).
