Re: Get Out of the Cold - 2009
Seriously, I wil get drag slicks. Someone run my car against Will. Then slap him for me. Please. I am begging, lol. I love competition. . . not the "friendly" kind that Ed is talking about, either.
The race starts like this. . .
And ends like this . . .
Will is the female doggie

I myself plan to embarrass AlEx, his sixer's pretty fast and noisy, but Blue's not worried about him, you know, all bark no bite.

I'm not racing the F350, even though I think that could take you.

Dont take this the wrong way, but your cars not fast enough to worry about that, just bring your helmet, cause you mite need that, but other then that, if you want to race someone, and that's all ways fun, you can match up with someone that is comparable to you and your car, that always makes for a good race when your fairly closely matched, and its all in fun, no bad feelings, just friendly racing.
Oh, I know I'm not that fast...Yet
But I just want to get into racing, and I thought this might give me a good baseline. Just wait till next spring, and I'm not so naturally aspirated.....

Yes . . . Faster than you indeed. It takes a big man to admit when he's lost.

Sheeeiit. I'll kick your ass on the track now AND after you put a blower on that thing. All motor is the way to go youngster...
You'll have fun racing, and I guarantee it, you'll find it addicting.

So, Will and Bernie going to duke it out, coooooool

I'll take on the winner. The way I see it, Bernie will be overconfident and I'll blow through the 60ft before he has a chance to blink, and ol mr twin turbo will still be spinning wheels at the tree while I'm going through 1000' marker. Easy bets fellas...

That could most definetly happen... Most likely the first couple runs I am shooting for a 2+ 60ft with a 135+ mph out the back end...
I guess we will see...

You don't have drag radials? It sounds like several members will be trying their hand on the track, so I'll bring a second set of '05 Bullitt wheels with Mickey Thompson 275/40-17s mounted. They are very stable at the top end and hook like mad (I had consistent 1.6 60 foots 8 times in a row the last track day). That should help get some personal bests that day...
